Tune-Up

A tune-up is an optimization of your computer’s operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux) and all of the programs that run on it. It starts with a check of your storage drive’s health, followed by a series of virus and malware scans with a number of industry tools and utilities. After that, an update of all software and drivers is performed, along with a scan and repair of the file system. To top off the process, we remove all the applications that run on startup that you do not use, and give the physical device a quick blow-out of all dust and debris. The result is a computer that runs like new!

Our tune-up is a flat rate of $100, and usually takes around two to three hours, assuming no hardware issues occur. If a hardware component is failing and a replacement is needed, such as a storage device replacement, we will contact you and let you know.

To get started, please call our office to schedule a drop-off appointment. Alternatively, we can perform a software-only tune-up over a remote support session.
