Are you about to give up on a computer that has become painfully slow or is unusable?

This behavior is usually the result of stuff that accumulates over time and with use: spyware, malware, viruses, unnecessary programs and processes running on start-up, damaged registry or corrupt operating system files. Our Tune-Up returns your computer to new, or even better than new, performance.

Included in our $85 flat-fee Tune-Up:

• Complete virus removal
• Complete malware/spyware removal
• Complete hard drive cleanup
• Installation of free protection software
• Defragmentation
• All Operating System updates
• Removal of un-needed software and startup items
• Registry cleanup and repair

Tune-Ups usually must be performed at our location for the flat-fee service, and usually require at least 24 to 48 hours to complete.

YES, we can come to your home or office for the tune-up, but the hourly billable rate applies. A proper tune up at your place could take 2 to 4 hours. BUT Fair warning, a badly infected computer CANNOT be remedied in a reasonable amount of time at your place and must be completed at the shop. The best thing to do is call us first do discuss whether or not your computer might qualify to be tuned-up at your location.

Why it makes more sense to bring it to us rather than having us come to you:
Based on our experience, a proper computer tune-up as listed above can take many hours to complete, given the time it takes for the utilities to run their tasks, rebooting and re-testing to ensure the process has succeeded. Also,we like you to see it running perfectly after completion–at pick-up time–before you take it away.

Call ahead at 503-289-1986, or just bring your computer in. We are next to the Gotham Tavern at the corner of North Interstate and Albina Ave. If your computer is a laptop, please remember to bring your power cord. If you still have the Operating System CDs or restoration CDs that may have been included with your computer, it would be a good idea to include them. We cannot tune up Windows ME, Windows 98, or earlier, machines.
